Frequently asked questions.
Quick answers to common questions — including the ones most services would rather you didn't ask.
Are you a government agency?
No. Pacific eVisa Pass is a private, fee-based travel authorisation support service. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs. All applications are assessed and decided solely by the Department.
Are you legally qualified?
We are not a law firm and do not offer legal advice. Australian immigration assistance is delivered by a Registered Migration Agent under MARN 0901499, verifiable on the OMARA Register.
Can I apply directly without using your service?
Yes. You're free to apply directly through the official Government channels at any time, paying only the Government's own charge. Our service is entirely optional.
Why does the eVisitor cost USD 49 when the Government charges nothing?
Because you're paying for our service, not for the visa. The eVisitor visa itself is free from the Australian Government, and you may apply yourself at no cost at online.immi.gov.au. Our fee covers eligibility assessment, document guidance and review by a Registered Migration Agent before submission.
When do I pay?
After you've received and accepted a written services agreement setting out the scope and a fixed fee. Nothing is charged at enquiry stage. Government charges, where they apply, are paid by you directly to the Department.
What if my application is refused?
Government charges are generally non-refundable by the Department. Our own position on the service fee is set out in our Refund Policy.
Do you guarantee approval?
No, and no one legitimately can. Approval decisions are made solely by the Department of Home Affairs. What we can do is make sure your application is accurate, complete and consistent with published requirements before it's lodged.
How long does processing usually take?
Processing times vary by application volume and individual circumstances. Some applications are processed quickly, while others may require additional review by the Department.
What happens if I make a mistake in my application?
Errors can cause delays or refusal. If you notice a mistake after submission, correction options depend on the status of the application with the Department — contact us as soon as you notice.
What is the eVisitor visa?
The eVisitor (subclass 651) is an electronic visa for eligible European passport holders travelling to Australia for tourism or certain business visitor activities.
How long can I stay on an eVisitor or ETA?
Both generally allow multiple visits within twelve months, with stays of up to three months per visit, subject to the conditions on your grant.
Can I work in Australia on any of these?
No. None of the eVisitor, ETA or Visitor visa permits employment. Only limited business visitor activities are allowed.
Can you lodge my ETA (601) for me?
No, and nor can any other website. The Australian Government requires ETA applications to be made by the traveller through its own app, including a live photo. We can help you understand eligibility and requirements, and review your answers before you lodge.
Do I need to apply before travelling?
Yes. You must hold the required authorisation or visa approval before boarding. Travellers who arrive without the appropriate approval may be denied boarding or entry.
What do you help with?
We provide independent support for Australian travel authorisation applications — explaining requirements, helping you prepare accurate information, organising supporting documents, and reviewing your application before it's lodged. We do not make decisions or influence outcomes.
How can I start my enquiry?
Tell us your passport country and travel dates through our enquiry form. We'll confirm which authorisation applies and exactly what our service covers before any payment is taken.
Official government channels
You can always apply directly with the Department, with no intermediary and no fee beyond the government's own charge. Our service is optional.
