Pacific eVisa Pass is a private, fee-based application support service. We are not a government website and are not connected with any government body.
Australia · Registered Migration Agent

The visa is the government's. The preparation is ours.

You can lodge an Australian travel authorisation yourself, free or for the government's charge. What you can't get from a form is someone who checks it first. That's what we do — and every credential behind that claim is on a public register.

Step one

Which authorisation applies to you?

Start with your passport

Australia decides your route by the passport you travel on, not where you live.

Your likely authorisation, the government's charge and our fee will appear here.

The three routes

Three authorisations, three different processes

Most confusion in this category comes from treating these as interchangeable. They aren't — they differ in who can apply, what the government charges, and who is allowed to lodge.

Before you book

Check your visitor visa and travel authorisation requirements

Every traveller to Australia needs a visa or an electronic travel authorisation before departure, regardless of how short the trip is. Which one you need depends on the passport you hold — not your itinerary — so it's worth confirming the right category before you book flights or accommodation.

Subclass 600

Australia Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)

The Visitor visa is the route for passport holders who fall outside the eVisitor and ETA groups — this covers most of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America and the Pacific. It's used for tourism, visiting family and friends, or short business activities such as attending a conference or meetings, and depending on the stream can be granted for 3, 6 or 12 months. Because the Department asks for more supporting evidence here than for the other two categories — proof of sufficient funds, ties to your home country, travel history and, for some applicants, health examinations — it's also the category where a careful document review before lodgement matters most. Processing times run longer than an eVisitor or ETA, so applying well ahead of your travel dates, rather than in the final weeks, gives the Department time to assess everything properly.

Subclass 651

Australia eVisitor Visa (Subclass 651)

The eVisitor is a free, online-only authorisation available to passport holders from the European Union and a handful of other European countries, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland. It covers tourism and business visitor activities, and once granted allows stays of up to three months per visit across a 12-month validity period, with multiple entries permitted in that time. There's no physical label or stamp — approval is recorded electronically against your passport number and verified automatically at check-in and on arrival. Most eVisitor applications are decided within a day or two when the details match Department records cleanly, but it's still worth applying a few weeks ahead in case extra checks are triggered, rather than leaving it until just before departure.

Passport eligibility groups are set by the Department of Home Affairs and reviewed periodically. Use the passport checker above, or the Department's own guidance at immi.homeaffairs.gov.au, to confirm which category applies before you apply.

Scope

What we do, and what we don't

A migration agent's obligations are set by the Code of Conduct, not by marketing. Here is the boundary, stated before you pay rather than after.

We do

  • Assess which authorisation your circumstances actually call for
  • Give you a written list of the documents the Department asks for
  • Check your answers against the published requirements before anything is lodged
  • Flag a refusal history, cancellation or conviction that changes your route
  • Send a written services agreement with a fixed fee before any work starts
  • Tell you when you don't need us

We don't

  • Charge you the government's fee — you pay that directly, where it applies
  • Influence, speed up or guarantee a decision
  • Lodge the ETA 601 for you — the Government app allows only you to do that
  • Take payment before you've seen the agreement
  • Ask for passport numbers or documents through a web form
  • Claim any government affiliation, because we have none
How it runs

From enquiry to lodgement

FIRST

Tell us about the trip

Passport country, travel dates, purpose, and three short background questions. No documents, no payment. We reply within one business day with the authorisation that fits and a fixed fee.

THEN

Agree the scope in writing

You receive a services agreement setting out what we'll do and what it costs. Work begins only once you accept it. Documents are collected afterwards, through a secure link rather than email.

FINALLY

Reviewed, then lodged

Your details are checked against the published requirements. The application is lodged on your instruction — or, for the ETA, we walk you through lodging it yourself in the Government app.

No obligation

You can do all of this yourself

Every authorisation we assist with is available directly from the Australian Government, at the government's own charge and no more. We'd rather say so here than have you find out later.

Questions

The things people ask before paying

Why pay USD 49 when the eVisitor is free?

Because the fee buys review, not access. The Australian Government charges nothing for an eVisitor, and our fee is entirely a service fee — an eligibility assessment against the character and health criteria, a document check, and a review by a Registered Migration Agent before anything is lodged. If you're confident in your own answers, apply yourself at online.immi.gov.au and pay nothing. That's a legitimate choice and we'll say so.

Are you part of the Australian Government?

No. Pacific eVisa Pass is a private, fee-based support service with no affiliation to, or endorsement from, the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs. Every decision on your application is made solely by the Department.

Can you guarantee my application is approved?

No, and no one can. Anyone who tells you otherwise is misleading you. What we can do is make sure your application is accurate, complete and consistent with the published requirements before it goes in.

Why can't you lodge the ETA for me?

The subclass 601 can only be lodged through the Australian Government's ETA app, which reads the chip in your passport using your own phone. No third party can do that step for you. Our fee for the 601 covers eligibility guidance and a review of your answers — not lodgement — and we say so on the pricing page.

What happens to my personal information?

We collect only what's needed to answer your enquiry, and we handle it under the Privacy Act 1988. We deliberately don't accept passport numbers, dates of birth or document scans through the website — those are requested through a secure link after you've engaged us.

When do I pay?

After you've received and accepted a written services agreement setting out the scope and a fixed fee. Nothing is charged at enquiry stage. Government charges, where they apply, are paid by you directly to the Department.
